Worthwhile activities with your child aided by educational wooden toys

Parents are very busy nowadays. If they are not at work, they are out running some errands. Finding a quality time to spend with their children is very difficult. That is why whenever the parents is free, it is important that they have a worthwhile activity with their children.
In order to have a great bonding experience with your child, you have to know what their likes are. Find out the interests of children of his age and adapt what you found out in your activities. An educational and fun activity is a good way to spend time with your kids. Use different materials such educational wooden toys to make the activity more interesting.
Here are some activities you can do with your children:

• If your child is still a baby and can’t do much activity, talking and playing with him will be one of the best ways to spend time with him. Tell him how much you love him. Show him how to play with his toys. He is more interested with sound, texture and color at this point, so give colorful soft toys which makes playful sound while he plays

• As your child move into the toddler stage, his toys evolve as well. You can start giving him educational toys. Fortunately, there are a lot of educational toys to choose from. You can have wooden toys that can be piled up to create a building. With these toys, you can have a lot of activities with him. You can help him build a house or build something and let him guess it. You can teach him some strategies in order to create better designs. It is always wonderful to teach your child something while playing with them.

• If your child is about to start school, you can reduce time of play and spend more time preparing him for school. You can still use the educational learning toys while you teach him. This way, your child will still feel that you are playing. You can use the toys to teach him how to count. Or you can repaint it with letters to help him spell his name and other words.

• When your child reaches school age, you can bond with him by checking on his home works and projects. Assure him that he can ask for help from you. Being creative with his projects will not be a problem since you have been helping him with that while you play with educational kids toys. It wouldn’t be difficult with him to adjust in school because you have spent time preparing him for it as well. And because you have shared this bond, your child won’t hesitate to ask for help and assistance from you for his school work.
